In the hallowed spirit of Muji’s minimalist aesthetics, this story will follow suit.

Muji is a Japanese brand known for and loved for their minimalist homeware.

They already have several outlets in Singapore for years, but they’re now interested in launching a flagship store in Southeast Asia.

Said flagship store will be located at Plaza Singapura, and will be Singapore’s biggest Muji store.

It’s more than just a retail store though. The outlet will host a special space for exhibitions, talks and workshops.

It’ll also feature interior and styling advisors.

It’ll also offer new products from other Muji lines such as Found Muji, IDEE and Muji Labo.

It’ll also have a permanent Muji cafe that can seat 70 patrons. Japanese and Western cuisines, with a healthy, minimalist bent.

It’ll open on Jul 21.
