Update: This event has been postponed in light of COVID-19. Organizers say a new date will be announced in due course.

American psychedelic duo MGMT and feel-good Irish indie rock outfit Two Door Cinema Club are coming to Singapore in May to headline a Sentosa Island music fest.

The acts will perform alongside up-and-coming Australian singer Starley at the AIA Glow Festival, which will run May 30-31 at the Palawan Green, organizer Exceed Sports and Entertainment announced today.

Single-day tickets, which include admission to the festival’s music and wellness activities, cost S$69 and are on sale now at AirAsia RedTix.

This will be MGMT’s second Singapore concert after their maiden show here nine years ago. Two Door Cinema Club will also be making a return three years after their sold-out 2017 show.

The former act, comprising Ben Goldwasser and Andrew VanWyngarden, is a multiple Grammy award nominee known for songs like Electric Feel, Kids and Time To Pretend from their debut studio album Oracular Spectacular that was released in 2007.

From Northern Ireland, Alex Trimble, Sam Halliday, and Kevin Baird of Two Door Cinema Club are known for tracks like What You Know and Undercover Martyn

Other than music, the AIA Glow festival will also feature a 5km charity run near the beach as well as yoga workshops. Yoga personalities including Ashley Galvin and Baron Baptiste will be there too.

More activities will be announced at a later date.
