Makeup artist Putra announced last night he has left the talent agency run by radio DJ and YouTuber Darryl Koshy, aka Dee Kosh, as current and former colleagues continue to speak out on the sex scandal that has engulfed his career.

Putra Hambali Hussaini, who has appeared on Koshy’s YouTube channel, said he was leaving the management team because he felt that staying on would go against his principles. Multiple complaints of soliciting sex from minors have been filed against Koshy and a police investigation is underway.

“Yes. I have officially left the management,” the 20-year-old beauty influencer wrote online. “I am aware of the whole situation therefore I left. I’m doing this for the sake of my conscience. This was a very hard decision to make but his actions (if it’s true) goes against my morals.”

Putra, who only goes by one name, was one of the latest of Koshy’s seven associates to address the accusations which surfaced over this past weekend. Koshy has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing beyond making inappropriate comments to one 15-year-old boy online. Attempts to reach Koshy since Monday have been unsuccessful.

Putra, who has worked with Koshy since joining the team last year, also denied being offered money for sexual favors. In his statement last night, he said that he hopes to remain friends.

“He [has] helped me with my career so much therefore, I’m not cutting him off from my life, I’m just not associating with him in a business way,” he wrote.

He spoke one day after coworkers Ben Tang, Keith and Hamza Zaidi took a range on positions on their disgraced boss. The studio he worked with, Night Owl Cinematics, also said Wednesday it would no longer work with 32-year-old Koshy or his firm.

The other three, Go Shi Song, Marcus Tan and Yap Xinde, did not say they were leaving but denied any inappropriate conduct on Koshy’s part toward them.

Yap, 25, who’s worked with Koshy since 2016, said his “controversial” and “offensive” nature were part of his online persona.

“Dee Kosh is not a perfect person and perhaps even a tyrant to some and I can empathise why people will feel this way. He has built his online-persona as such and it could be offensive to a lot of people but hey, that’s the way he creates content and his style of entertainment for his audiences (which is quite controversial),” he wrote.

Koshy has remained silent since a Tuesday statement in which he denied having any sexual relations with the accusers. Faced with chat logs, he did admit to using inappropriate language with a 15-year-old boy.
