Who doesn’t like a party by the coastal bay? The mother of all mabuk (drunk in Malay) parties is set to make landfall at Keppel Bay on Oct 11 with a market featuring all the hottest food, retail, art and music to shake up your Sunday.
Mabuk Market will be a heat and haze free party too — the whole shebang’s taking place within an air-conditioned tent pitched at Keppel Bay. Party arrangers The Haywire Handymen and Dreamfields promise a boozy flea art market experience curated by Good Citizen, and a snazzy art funfair produced by KULT Magazine.
Food and drinks will be handled extravagantly by the likes of Bird Bird by Artichoke, Park Bench Deli, Din Toon of Spice Peranakan and even Harry’s. Music will be handled by the music streaming service RDIOm who’ll be hosting the Mabuk Market playlist as well as a variety of DJs behind decks.
Oh, and kids are totally welcome to the party too — they’ve got a state of the art Haywire Bouncy Castle! Just don’t get them mabuk. More details on the Mabuk Market Facebook event page.
