Update: The Sports Hub Multi-Activity Camp has been postponed until further notice.

This one’s for all the parents out there. If you’ve been scratching your head thinking of ways to keep the kids occupied (*ahem* without an iPad) we’ve got a suggestion for you. As its name suggests, the Singapore Sports Hub is where to go for all things sports, but did you know that it’s also good for tiring out the kids? The Singapore Sports Hub has a whole bunch of fun kid-friendly events, like the Sports Hub Multi-Activity Camp, which is where you’ll want to take your kids this June.

Taking place at the OCBC Arena, this five-day camp is a great chance for your children to make new friends and discover the joys of staying active. Here, your little ones can learn through play and develop a variety of fundamental sporting skills and social skills. This camp is designed to build their self confidence and indulge them in ton of fun!

Dedicated coaches here take the little ones through a variety of sporty activities, which are designed to help kids express themselves better and discover healthy lifestyle habits. Here, kids can try their hand at a variety of sports, including karate, floorball and frisbee in a safe environment.

This year’s edition also sees the return of old favorites such as football, tennis, basketball and team building games along with all-new activities like kids yoga, ZumbaKids and even STEM activities. One thing’s for sure though — naptime will go without a hitch and the kids will want to come back for more.

Here’s what a week at the camp looks like:

Monday: Soccer, Frisbee, Athletics, Fun Games

Tuesday: Rugby, Tennis, Floorball, Arts n Crafts

Wednesday: Basketball, Dodgeball, Martial Arts, Team Games

Thursday: Cricket, Baseball, Kickball, Dance

Friday: Sports Day and Fun Games

Your child’s safety is of top priority, and you can rest assured that the camp will abide by social distancing rules. Each wave of the five-day camp can accommodate 40 participants, but attendees will be split into groups of eight for a total of five groups, with one instructor assigned to each group.

Get a headstart on planning for the June holidays — registration is now open for the June sessions. This camp got sessions in September and December too, so head over to their website to find out more. The Sports Hub Multi-Activity Camp is organised in partnership with Proactiv.
