Laneway Festival Singapore’s already robust line-up for next year (Father John Misty! Bonobo! War On Drugs!) gets another juicy boost with some regional flair — eight acts from around Southeast Asia have been added to the annual soireé at The Meadow.
From Singapore, the established likes of instrumental rock outfit Amateur Takes Control and fuzz-pop quintet Obedient Wives Club are set to take the stage along with veteran rapper THELIONCITYBOY, reggae-hop queen MAS1A, and funk-soul crooner Tim De Cotta.

Regional talents will arrive in the form of electronic-R&B producer Alextbh representing Malaysia, nu-gaze darlings HEALS representing Indonesia, and indie-folk sextet The Ransom Collective representing the Philippines.

Laneway Festival Singapore’s eighth outing (boy, has time really passed us by) will hit Gardens By The Bay on Jan 27 next year — tickets are available online via Apactix.
