American singer-songwriter Kehlani Ashley Parrish is joining the throng of musical artists coming to Singapore in February next year.
Following the release of Parrish’s latest album Blue Water Road in April, the 27-year-old will be bringing the Blue Water Road Trip World Tour to the Capitol Theatre on Feb. 6.
The tour was announced earlier this month and will span the United Kingdom, Europe, North America, Australia and Asia.
Parrish said in a news release that the concert will give everyone “access” to her “emotional,” “sexual” and “spiritual” journeys, similar to a “glass house” where it is “transparent.”
The Grammy-nominated R&B singer said her latest sound has definitely evolved for the better.
“I feel like I became a lot clearer. I got a better understanding of grief, life, love, and really myself. I’m in a joyful, dreamy, and introspective place lyrically, sonically, and musically,” Parrish said.
Parrish has collaborated with musical stars like Cardi B, Justin Bieber and Post Malone, and has appeared on movie soundtracks like Suicide Squad: The Album and The Fate of the Furious: The Album.
Tickets start from S$108 and go on sale Nov. 9 at 12pm.
