Jack Neo to return with ‘I Not Stupid 3,’ casting calls start tonight

One of Singapore’s famed comedies is getting another installment soon.

Local director Jack Neo, the brains behind the Ah Boys to Men movies, is reviving the I Not Stupid series with a third film as announced by production company MM2 Entertainment today.

Casting calls are live tonight at 9pm on the director’s Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Neo said they would be looking for male, female and children actors.

“Want to be the next actors in Jack Neo Movie? Catch the LIVE tonight JackNeoCK !” the company wrote.

The film franchise explores the adventures of three boys navigating the stressful Singaporean education system and issues with their families. I Not Stupid premiered in 2002 followed by I Not Stupid Too in 2006. 

They are one of the highest-grossing local films of all time, earning over S$3.8 million and S$4 million in the first and second installments respectively.
