South Korean girl group Itzy will be including Singapore for their first world tour.
The five-member K-pop group will play at The Star Theatre on Jan. 28 for their Checkmate world tour.
The Singapore stop comes after the Asian leg kickstarts in Manila on Jan. 14, followed by Jakarta on Feb. 4 and Bangkok on Apr. 8.
The group, consisting of members Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna under JYP Entertainment, released their fifth EP Checkmate and its lead single Sneakers in July after debuting in 2019.
Itzy is pronounced “it-zee” and means the girls have everything you want in Korean, and their fandom “Midzy” means trust.
