After canceling its Singapore debut last year, organizers behind the Hydeout music festival have been assembling a lineup of international artists to perform on its digital platforms, with pop star Charli XCX, rapper Wiz Khalifa and DJ Hardwell among the latest to join its showcase.
Hydeout The Prelude: Phase Two has gone live on their website till April 24, featuring over 50 artists. Their pre-recorded performances will be available for viewing on-demand anywhere, and anytime.
The latest lineup also includes American rapper G-Eazy, singers Tinashe and Kid Laroi, DJs Zedd, Armin Van Buren, Fedde Le Grand, TOKiMONSTA, Alison Wonderland, and dance electronic artists Pixel Terror, Habstrakt, Sullivan King, KTN, Manila Killa and Yung Bae.
Viewers can also interact with others in chat rooms, organize watch parties, or create custom avatars to stand out from the “crowd.” There is also a slew of games to play and win avatar outfits.
The previous showcase by homegrown Hydenseek Entertainment in January featured performances by British singer Rita Ora, Dutch DJs Martin Garrix and Don Diablo across six digital stages.
Hydeout was originally supposed to debut at The Meadow at Gardens by the Bay last year before the pandemic struck, forcing it to be postponed twice before going completely digital.
Entry to its virtual festival costs from S$6.70 (US$5) per show while an all-access pass costs S$67 (US$49.99).
