Oh, this is just clever. Neon Lights will only be making their second outing at Fort Canning Park this November, but they’re already fast becoming one of our must-attend events in Singapore.
Foals and Sigur Rós are more than enough to get us hounding for tickets to the two-day indie music and arts festival, but they’ve been playing their cards close to their chest regarding the rest of the line-up. With just one more day to another wave of roster announcements, they’ve dropped some hints in a rather brilliant way — an illustration full of symbols, characters and clues as to who’ll be coming.
It’s like primary school oral exams all over again, except we’re describing a rather trippy image that tests your knowledge on alternative music acts. We’ve tried our best in deciphering the picture, but we’re pretty sure we missed out on more. See if you can figure out the rest of the line-up below.

Foals
Duh, they’re already confirmed. Also, that baby horse to the left of the Neon Lights signage.
Chairlift
Near the foal, that levitating chair.
Gold Panda
There’s a shiny golden panda chilling on the meadow, to the left of the big rock.
Lucy Rose
Just next to the golden panda, a lady holding a rose. Also, the word Lucy emblazoned on her butt.
Hammock
That purple-and-blue hammock hanging in between the trees.
BadBadNotGood
That yellow signboard with those thumbs down gestures.
The Tallest Man On Earth
The giant in a suit in the background.
Crystal Castles
The castle seemingly made of glass in the background.
Giraffes? Giraffes!
Two giraffes to the right of the Neon Lights signage.
65daysofstatic
The TV in the middle of the meadow with the number 65 underneath it.
Goat
There’s a goat next to the guitar-playing lady (who we hope is Sharon Van Etten).
Goose
That goose at the right of the image.
Blood Orange
To the right of the TV. Slices of blood oranges and a literal packet of blood.
Peace
The foam hand holding up the peace sign.
SBTRKT
Written in mirrored letters on the trash can at the left of the image.
The full line-up will be announced tomorrow at 8pm — stay tuned on the Neon Lights Facebook page. If you’re already sold, you can purchase tickets on their website.
