Bedok residents, rejoice. Your grieving period after the McDonald’s outlet at Princess Theatre shuttered is over. The four-storey Princess Theatre Building may have been closed for a $30 million redevelopment project, but in time, good things will come to those who wait.
And we’ve got great news for all you movie buffs, ’cause that wait will likely be over in the first quarter of 2018, when the new Golden Village cinema opens with six screens and about 600 seats.
Other exciting things to look forward to at the new Princess Theatre include karaoke bars, new restaurants, a cyber sports cafe, a communal rooftop garden and extended operating hours.
