Sanrio fans, listen up. If you wanna get your hands on cute little chubby marker pens in the shape of your favourite characters, head to your nearest 7-Eleven store. From now till October 4, the series of 12 pens will be available at 433 outlets across the country, with popular characters like Kerokerokeropi, Hello Kitty, Pompompurin and My Melody featured in the limited edition collection.
Unfortunately, you can’t just walk up to a store and buy one. You have to spend $3 to get one stamp (or purchase Star Products like a giant slurpee for bonus stamps), and it’s only after you collect 24 stamps that you’re allowed to redeem just one Sanrio marker pen. Or if you get antsy after six stamps, just top up $4.90 to redeem your item. You won’t be able to choose which one you prefer, so if you’re gunning for all the pens in the collection, be ready to spend a sizeable chunk of your hard-earned cash on this endeavour.
Take note that Gudetama, Little Twin Stars and Dear Daniel pens will only be out from September 7.
