Glance through 100 photos showcasing life in Singapore at this roving Instagram exhibition

Mad About Singapore is a roving exhibition made up of photos taken by Singaporean Instagrammers. These images, from quirky captures of local culture to stunning scenic snapshots, were whittled down from 15,000 entries submitted by more than 3,700 Instagrammers. For its third edition, the exhibition — which is organised by Instagram community group InstaSG — shortlisted the top 100 photos for display at Raffles City (until Oct 7), Junction 8 (Oct 8-16), Westgate Mall (Oct 17-23) and Tampines Mall (Oct 24-30).

This is another one of crowd’s favorite, and 1 of 3 pictures @allanespolong has at the #MadAboutSingapore2016 exhibition. It seems like quite a number of visitors love his HDR pictures of Singapore scenes. An auntie actually asked “this guy took a picture of postcard and submit, can ah?” Err… auntie.. nevermind. – The exhibition is now at #Junction8, at the walkway just at the exit of Bishan MRT station on your left. It will be there until Oct 16th before moving to west of Singapore. Drop by tomorrow around lunch time as we will have few Singapore’s Instagrammers of the Year to share about their works too! – Thanks to @NYCSG as co-organiser that makes this roving exhibition possible.

Another picture that got many finger-pointings from our visitors at #MadAboutSingapore2016, this #puddlegram from @insynced tells us to see the world from different angle. When some asked and we told them that it’s actually a reflection being rotated upside-down, we had some #neckexercise here. – Mad About Singapore is an exhibition co-organised with @NYCSG, and it’s the last few hours here at @RafflesCitySG before its moving to #Junction8 for a premiere there tomorrow morning. Who’s gonna be there tomorrow?

From #MadAboutSingapore2016 exhibition, this portrait by @jaydenation is one of the popular ones that received many finger-pointing, smiles and discussions among the visitors. Inspired by #HendrikKerstens, this is one of his ‘char bor’ series. We also overheard some Instagrammers gave this portrait an interesting nickname; Monalisa of Singapore. – Tomorrow will be the last day of the exhibition at @RafflesCitySG, and we are coming to Junction 8, Bishan, on Saturday!
