It’s never too early in the year to treat yo’self, so how about going for a glamorous camping experience by the ocean this weekend at the lush green expanse that is… East Coast Park?

For S$138 a pop, let the “ocean spirit of the East Coast of Singapore” transcend your soul to a mosquito-ridden nirvana with yoga, complimentary WiFi, hearty atas meals, and your own tent (mattresses with linen and bedding included). To elevate the experience — and possibly forget that you’re actually glamping it out at East Coast Park — you get a bottle of Moscato too.

Of course, the fact that this might be taking place at East Coast Park wasn’t explicitly mentioned in the copy, but judging from its strict adherence to the National Parks Board camping regulations, we can safely say that folks won’t be glamping on a nice, secluded private property.

Sincerely described as a “5-star hotel experience” by the ocean, it’ll be an all-inclusive 2D1N package. Here are some things that S$138 gets you:

  • Private tents with mattresses
  • WiFi
  • Game of Thrones yoga session (emerge “victorious, strong and relaxed” via specially named poses with the show’s soundtrack in the background)
  • A Game of Thrones dragon egg
  • A chakra-healing bracelet workshop (materials supplied)
  • Complimentary 1.5-litre bottle of water
  • Glamping amenities (cooling fan, personal lamps)
  • Five meals (American breakfast, charbroiled lunches, Turkish dinners, grilled edamame, free flow of sugared butter crackers with hot milo)
  • Outdoor movie screening
  • More yoga sessions

For all we know, it might actually turn out to be a luxurious glamping experience that’s absolutely worth the price of entry. Of course, it would suck if it rained most of the time — just like how it has been the past couple of days. Anyway, more details on the Funzing website if you’re keen.
