French electronica outfit M83 are set to make their long-awaited return to our shores after an especially triumphant appearance back in 2012, and this time it’ll be with fellow electronica talents — our very own .gif.
Two Laneway Festival Singapore alumni will be uniting next month at The Coliseum as part of M83’s first ever solo concert, four years since fans saw them last at Fort Canning Park. Fans that included the .gif duo of course — members Weish and Din were in the audience, enjoying M83’s dreamy electronic tunes too.
“It was drizzling, and everybody was singing along in the night rain,” they said. “That was a magical moment for us both. It feels pretty surreal to be opening for M83 now”.
