The Color Run, also known as the Happiest 5k on the Planet, returns to Sentosa this August. Open for registration on June 6, the Singapore leg of the Tropicolor World Tour 2016 brings the 5km race to the beach.
You know what happens next — loads of colored powder flung in all directions, like clouds of dust, only in rainbow shades. If you’re a clean freak who can’t fathom the thought of a dirty tee (or a face full of powder), you should probably stay away.
Plus, as a first for the Singapore edition, Color Runners will get a chance to win a weekend getaway to an as-of-yet unnamed ‘tropical paradise’, with flights and accommodation provided. Slots for this race tend to get snapped up fast, so sign up next week if you’re super keen.
The Color Run is on Aug 20 & 21, 2pm-10pm at Sentosa Beach Car Park, Sentosa Island. $65/person, includes entry into Sentosa, a runner’s t-shirt, headband and more. Registration opens on Jun 6, 2pm.
