Get ready to catch ’em all in a whole new way! Shell today announced that they will launch a series of special edition Pokémon dehumidifier plushies next week.
Popular Pokémon characters like Pikachu, Snorlax, Eevee, and Charizard, are exclusively available at Shell stations nationwide from Sept. 1.
It is not just practical, it is a collector’s item as well, said the oil and gas company. According to them, the cute plushies are designed to absorb moisture and prevent mildew and can be placed indoors, in cars and on work desks. So probably best not to hug the plushies after a while?
The collection will be rolled out in waves, with each design available during a specific period. The first wave is set to launch on Sept. 1 and subsequent designs will be introduced on the first day of each month through November.
Customers can purchase a Pokémon dehumidifier plushie for S$18.90 each after spending a minimum of S$70 on Shell fuels or S$15 on Shell Select Store items.
Each plushie also comes with a complimentary Pokémon Trading Card Game Fun Pack and Half Playmat.
A special launch event will take place on Sept. 2 and 3 where all four designs will be available for purchase for the first 60 customers at six select Shell stations. There will also be a Meet-and-Greet with Pikachu. This event is only exclusive to Shell GO+ members.
The first 100 customers at each of the participating stations on these dates who purchase a plushie will also receive a free goodie bag containing Pokémon merchandise, Shell Select items and brand vouchers.
