There are only two kinds of dudes in the world — those who know who Sasha Grey is… and filthy liars. For the very miniscule percentage of the population who genuinely don’t know who she is (bless your pure, uncorrupted hearts), Grey is, in fact, one of the most prominent pornographic actresses in the world.
Or at least, she used to be. The former adult film star left the world of hardcore porn behind when she was 21 and went on to pursue other more artful interests, all while riding on the massive popularity of her previous career. Now 28, she has since gone on to become a fashion model, a film and TV actress, play in an industrial music band, and even release a photo-book and a novel. An erotic one, of course.
One of her many ventures is something that many celebrities and other fashion models have recently taken a keen liking to: Being a DJ. It’s nothing suprising — folks who were present at It’s The Ship 2014 would have remembered the former pornstar spinning behind the decks in a private party. We have no recollection of what happened behind those closed doors.

Those who weren’t on the party cruise ship can now pay their way to see Grey DJ once again, this time in mainland Singapore in what’s probably her first performance here. As part of the Singapore Grand Prix celebrations, Grey will grace the decks at Pan Pacific Hotel club Bang Bang in a formal night of revelry — dudes have to wear button down shirts; ladies have to wear heels and cocktail attire.
But don’t expect anything unorthodox (like downtempo remixes of ’80s porn music, for example) — Bang Bang says it’ll be the standard range of “high-energy tracks with plenty of dramatic drops, to house and experimental”.
