The salmon pink shophouse on Keong Saik Road is home to Coach’s immersive experience boutique and for the month of August, the shophouse will house its latest Coachtopia collection.

What’s so special about the collection? Coachtopia is a new sub-brand which focuses on circular craft and collaborations with creatives. Old becomes new again as scraps of leather, fabrics and leftover material is repurposed into a collection – with some of its pieces being one of a kind.

Go shopping, create art and eat

This means colorful weaving patterns on cute little bags made from leftover leather strips and abstract patterns made from crushing small leather scraps together – the same print is also used in the display of the collection. One of the products you can find in the collection at the boutique is the Coachtopia Loop Quilted Cloud Tote with the bag’s shell and stuffing made from 100% recycled PET plastic.

Besides shopping, visitors can check out the Coachtopia Cloud Canvas, an interactive screen where your movements become art on a “cloudscape”. The interactive art installation is meant to be a group effort because every user generates a new layer of sound, adding to a collaborative song.

The in-house cafe run by Brawn & Brains has also curated a themed dessert menu specially for Coachtopia which features a cloud-esque gelatine cake which sits atop lychee-infused mousse and a jasmine tea latte with blue pea milk topped with a fluffy cotton candy cloud. The special menu will be available only after 6pm at the cafe.

Not shopping? Bring home a souvenir

As part of the community outreach element, Coach will be hosting sustainable Coaster handcrafting workshop with local business Brambe at their ‘Workshop’ space on the third floor of the Coach Play Singapore Shophouse.

This experience is open to the public on the following dates: August 10, 12, 17, 19, 24 and 26, between 12pm to 6pm. We recommend registering way in advance on the website as there are limited slots per hour.
