Lots of selfies, towering twinkly lights, “snow” and photos with Santa – yup, Christmas Wonderland is back.
The biggest Christmas event in Singapore returns to Gardens by the Bay for its ninth edition from Dec. 2, 2022 to Jan. 1, 2023.
There will be six festive fun zones this year including St. Nick’s Square, Gingerbread Grove, Merry Lane, ELfresco, Mistletoe Alley and Games Village.
St. Nick’s Square is the heart of Christmas Wonderland and where you will find (and recognise) the stunning 21-meters-tall Spalliera lights that provides the iconic backdrop we have known to love. This is also where you will find the Venetian double-storey carousel.
Walk the familiar tunnel of lights at Gingerbread Grove for mandatory pics and the ‘gram but make a stop at the new attraction, Whimsical Windmill. The 10-meter kinetic light display is set in a field of 250 candy canes lit by more 35,000 bulbs.
If there’s no “snow”, then it ain’t Christmas. At Merry Lane, walk through wintry landscapes complete with igloos, polar bears and new light displays. You can also do some Christmas shopping at Mistletoe Alley where they will be craft booths and pretty things for sale – or try your hand at some winter carnival games at the Games Village. After all the activities, settle down for snacks and dine ELFresco.
Since it started in 2014, Christmas Wonderland has welcomed close to 5 million visitors.
