Despite pretty mediocre reviews, they’ve made a follow-up movie to 2012’s Snow White and the Huntsman, an unnecessary grimdark retelling of the fairy tale.
The Huntsman: Winter’s War is said to be a prequel focusing on Thor Chris Hemsworth’s character long before the birth of Snow White.
The prequel somehow amassed even more stars to the film, with Emily Blunt (Sicario, Edge of Tomorrow) and Jessica Chastain (Interstellar, Zero Dark Thirty) joining Charlize Theron and more reprising their roles.
In a bid to maximise audience turnout (after losing Kristen Stewart to a muddy affair with the first movie’s director), United International Pictures Singapore announced a red carpet premiere of the film at Resorts World Sentosa on Apr 3.
And they really mean business too — Hemsworth, Theron and Chastain themselves are coming to grace the premiere.
