Check out 15 local start-ups and their artisanal goods at this 2-day pop-up

Show some love to 15 local start-ups at A Superlife Affair, a two-day pop-up curated by Superlife Co and Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore. It’s part of the #NextJen campaign, which aims to support local entrepreneurs and their works. Check it out for yourself to meet the people behind the brands.


Here’s a list of the start-ups featured:

A juicery — The cold-pressed menu by this juice brand boasts an eclectic mix including flavours like choco sutra, citrus ninja, never miss a beet, smells like green spirit and matcha average nut milk.

All Good Things — For the health-conscious, All Good Things offers food like rice, pastas, chocolates, herbs and spices, as well as personal care and kid-friendly items.

A.muse Project — A specialty tea company known for wine-inspired blends like chardonnay, merlot and noir teas, this brand is one you’ve probably seen around town at artisanal markets.

Box Green — Healthy snacking is what Box Green is all about. Choose from over 20 options like raspberry choco rhapsody, twilight cherry express and rocky pecan brittle for when you get peckish in the office. For every box sold, the business donates a meal through Willing Hearts to help the underprivileged and the needy in Singapore.

Dottyprints — A one-woman printmaking studio run by an independent artist, Dottyprints specialises in block printing and all-natural plant-based henna painting.

Eastern Granola — Mmm, granola. The small batch cereals influenced by Southeast Asian flavours comes in options such as goji berry and cream, mandarin orange and dark choc, and milo.

Etrican — As the pioneer eco-fashion label in Singapore, this ethical clothing brand has been around since forever, selling dresses, tops and skirts made of 100 percent certified organic cotton for women and children.

Fitness Grocer — Get fit with protein snacks, nutrition bars, supplements, superfoods and more from this store.

Hook Coffee — Freshly established this year, the business sources sustainably grown and ethically produced coffee beans from farms in developing countries, roasts them in Singapore, and sends them on their way to you.

Love mei — Raising awareness about the human trafficking industry in the Philippines is what this social enterprise does. They help to reintegrate people back into society through education and employment, and sell a range of silk camisoles, kimono blouses and shirt dresses, with all proceeds directly renumerated.

Superlife Co — The trio of ladies behind this superfood e-commerce platform offers products for anti-aging, weight loss and energy boosting, as well as detox programmes to help you live a healthier lifestyle.

The 1925 Microbrewery & Restaurant — Sip on beers brewed by this local microbrewery, which also offers a packed menu for everything from brunch to dinner.

We Are Cultured — This start-up by a band of Third Culture citizens are all about strengthening the body’s gut with handmade water kefirs, a naturally cultured and fizzy beverage made from kefir grains, that feed off sugar to produce probiotic bacteria, organic acids and micronutrients.

Wild Nibs — Get quality chocolates from Wild Nibs, which works with boutique distributors to get fine cacao from farmers all over the world.

Zairyo — Take your pick of freshly-imported seafood, seasonal veggies and fruits, meats, condiments, snacks and tableware from Japan at Zairyo.
