A street culture festival that draws thousands each year is moving its swag, shows and events online next month.

Culture Cartel will drop special streetwear collections, host virtual masterclasses, and exhibit some of the coolest toys and tricked-out rides on its website from 1pm to midnight on Dec. 5. The event is free, but registration is required.

Some of the brands to catch include snowboard label Ride Side, vintage store The Corner Shop, and streetwear brands Carhartt and Adidas. Popular sneaker chain Limited Edt will also exhibit its kicks at virtual booths featuring videos and 3D renderings of its products.

After shopping, learn more about how the music industry is surviving the pandemic and find your own streetwear identity at virtual panels with local talents including singers Jon Chua, and illustrators Toby Tan and Tiffany Lovage.

A virtual tattoo competition will also be judged by the likes of Japanese tattoo artist Gakkin, Russian watercolor tattoo artist Sasha Unisex, and local artists Augustine and Jaws.

Spot artwork by American street artist McFlyy and multimedia artist Mojoko, as well as toy collectibles from design studio Mighty Jaxx and retailers ActionCity and Flab Slab. Then go gawk at customized vehicles by the people behind two of the region’s popular auto festivals Art Of Speed Malaysia and The Wicked Wallop.

Street scenesters can also look forward to winning over 500 prizes including limited edition goods and vouchers in a raffle draw. Tickets are priced at S$2 each and ticket holders are also eligible for weekly lucky draws starting Friday.

End the night grooving to spins by DJs Darren Tan, Amanda Keisha Tan, and Japanese DJ Yuka Mizuhara.

Editor’s note: Singer Tabitha Nauser was removed from this article as she was no longer taking part in the event.
