Valentine’s Day gets a lot more romantic and little more hipster this year — Canada’s indie-pop darlings Stars are dropping by again for a night of stellar, bittersweet tunes at Victoria Theatre.
15 years on since their debut album, Stars are still living it up as strong as ever in the Canadian indie music scene (one that includes Broken Social Scene, Metric and more), and their latest EP Lost & Found adds new life in their already beloved repertoire.
Their Asian tour however sees them playing up their 2014 release No One Is Lost, a nostalgia-laden effort that’s a fitting ode to youth wasted at the roller rink. Like all of Stars’ discography, it’s all about loving and being loved — all the more making it a perfect way end Valentine’s Day (or will it be just the beginning?).
Thanks to Symmetry Entertainment, Stars will be charming Singapore once again, this time in the majestic hall of Victoria Theatre on Feb 14. Tickets will be out on Peatix on Jan 14; stay updated on the official Facebook event page.
