Canadian experimental pop trio Braids set for Singapore debut at Kilo this July

Come July, Kilo Lounge is getting a taste of some Montreal-made shoegaze in the form of experimental pop outfit Braids in their Singapore debut, thanks to live electronic music curators Moonbeats Asia.

The Canadian trio recently released their new album Deep In The Iris — their strongest album thus far which marks a sonic departure from their previous experimental excursions and opting for a tighter, warmer sound that provides a mellow background for the alluring vocals of singer Raphaelle Standell-Preston.

Expect less of the fancy gimmickry and more of an intimately fragile and inherently inward experience when the trio takes to the stage of Kilo on Jul 18. Tickets available through Peatix at $40 and $55 — stay updated on the Facebook event page.
