Bob Dylan is returning to Singapore this summer — he’s scheduled to play at the Star Theatre in Buona Vista on August 6 as part of a scheduled tour around Asia, which will include a show in Hong Kong, plus other cities in the region (yet to be confirmed).

Tickets for the Singapore show go on sale at 10am this coming Monday (May 14), and are priced at $128, $188, and $248.

The American icon, aged 76, received the Nobel Prize in literature in 2016, and was last in Singapore for Timbre’s Rock & Roots festival in 2011.

Before that, Dylan’s first gig here was at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in 1994. Die-hard fan or not, you’ll likely know his classic songs Blowin’ in the Wind, The Times They are A-Changin’, and Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door.

In 2008, Dylan was also awarded a special Pulitzer Prize for his “profound impact on popular music and American culture”. Then in 2012, he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor in the United States.

He’s released over three dozen — yes, three DOZEN — studio albums that have covered genres ranging from rock, American folk, blues, country, gospel, and more over the course of his career, but we’re not about to try and SparkNotes Dylan’s discography for you here.

Here’s one of his aforementioned hits for your viewing pleasure instead:

Editor’s Note 05/18/18: An earlier version of this article stated that Seoul and Taipei may be likely locations for additional shows in Asia. We have amended the story to clarify that only Singapore and Hong Kong are confirmed as part of the Asia tour.
