After her concert here last month, American pop sensation Billie Eilish made even more memories here in Singapore, shooting dreamy live performances of her latest sorrowful ballads.
The 20-year-old last night released two new performances of her recently released tunes “TV” and “The 30th” that were filmed in the Cloud Forest of the iconic Gardens by the Bay following her successful gig at the Singapore National Stadium.
“Singapore was one of the first places I ever went on tour. I was only there for a day and absolutely fell in love with it.” Billie said in a news release, adding that the venue is “one of the most beautiful places” she has ever seen in her life.
The videos were directed by local director Choānn and shot in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board for its SingapoReimagine campaign.
The acoustic ballads were first released in July after she debuted “TV” during her sold-out “Happier Than Ever, The World Tour”. Eilish is currently in Australia finishing the final leg of the tour.
“These two songs really are just very important to me in a lot of ways. I feel really connected to them and very personally protective over them, and I wanted to have some sort of piece with the songs that felt really intimate and personal. It just felt really comfortable to do it in a place as beautiful as the Cloud Forest,” she said.
