From petrifying pinball machines to creepy contortionists, Coconuts has compiled a quick digest of some of the coolest Halloween parties in Singapore this year. Read on … if you dare!

Fangtastic at Pinball Wizard

Old-school gaming geeks will be happy to know that the newly-opened retro bar slash club Pinball Wizard is adding a Dracula-themed pinball machine to its selection as part of its first-ever Halloween party this year. Come dressed in your best costumes and you might walk away with some prizes, too.

Dirty Circus at CE LA VI

CE LA VI joins forces with London’s award-winning circus-themed nightclub Cirque Le Soir this Halloween to bring guests a wild night of theatrical oddities featuring fire-breathers, exotic dancers, and eccentric contortionists. DJs Andrew Tang and MinGs will also entertain you through the night.

Oct. 26; 10pm onwards. Tickets: S$28 (pre-sale); S$38 (at the door)

Rouge Grossery Store at Bar Rouge

Bar Rouge will transform into a bloodied grocery store this Halloween, complete with freshly cut limbs hanging from the ceilings — think Texas Chainsaw Massacre meets a wet market.

Arrive in your best costume and stand a chance to win a magnum of Grey Goose (it’s a lot of vodka) if you’re partying on Friday, or a one-night stay at Swissotel The Stamford if you’ll be there Saturday night.

Oct 25 and 26; 10pm – 6am. Free entry for those in costumes or pay S$25.

Island of the Dolls at Get Juiced

If creepy dolls are your chill-inducers of choice, head over to Get Juiced as they transform into a Mexican island of dolls for three days, complete with severed limbs and decapitated heads.

Party it up with DJs Tinc, Diamondback, Seph Ryans X San, and 808Gong, among others.

Oct. 25 – 27; 10pm onwards. Cover charges apply.

Booze and Boos at Smoke & Mirrors

Smoke & Mirrors at National Gallery Singapore has a special cocktail menu prepared for Halloween that includes a concoction known as Sweet Tears of Mine, which is a mix of rum, Fino sherry, salted caramel, apple, and lemon.

The Best Costume winner gets a 2-day-1-night stay at the Grand Park City Hall hotel worth S$500, while the first runner-up will win S$200 worth of cocktails, and the second runner-up a bottle of Black Tears Cuban Spiced Rum.

Nov 1; 7pm till late. Free entry.

Pirates Halloween Party at Hard Rock Café

Thinking of dressing as Jack Sparrow this Halloween? You might want to pop by Hard Rock Café’s Pirates Halloween Party where you’ll stand a chance to win prizes worth up to S$1,000.

The live band — led by fictional pirate character Captain Tabula – will hit the stage from 8pm.

Oct. 31; 8pm till late. S$10 per entry comes with a free shot.

Heart of Darkness – Nightmare in Tanjong Pagar

As part of a week-long Halloween celebration, craft brewery and pub Heart of Darkness will transform into a house of horrors, albeit one serving delicious, limited-edition dark beers. It will also be taking over the drinks menus of other well-known bars in Tanjong Pagar, starting with retro bar NINETEEN80, which will serve Heart of Darkness shots Oct. 26-27.

Six other watering holes including SG Taps will serve Heart of Darkness beers or cocktails from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2, while Park Bench Deli, a favored lunchtime spot among the office crowd, will separately serve a special Heart of Darkness sandwich the whole week. That’s right, a spooky sandwich.

Oct. 26-Nov. 2. Various venues in Tanjong Pagar. Free entry.

Bartenders will also serve a special Halloween concoction called The Killah, which is a mix of tequila, triple sec, spicy mango, strawberry puree, pineapple juice. DJs spinning throughout the night include Ethan and Sherpa.

From Oct. 25. Yin: 6pm till late. Yang: 10pm till late. Cover charge: S$30 for women; S$35 for men.

MONTI presents The Spooktacular Hour Chapter II: Heroes VS Villains

Come dressed as your favorite hero or villain to the Fullerton’s Monti nightclub and dance to old-school hip-hop and reggae tunes, as well as the top ‘40s. A slew of DC Comic-themed shots like the Kryptonite will be on offer. There is even an All-You-Can-Swallow-for-10-Seconds liquid buffet at S$10.

Oct 26. 10:30pm to 3am. Entry S$20 to S$35 (inclusive of one drink)

Bang Bang Halloween Special: Dollhouse

The Bang Bang nightclub at Marina Square is paying homage to Mexico City’s Island of the Dolls and the American horror film Amityville Dollhouse this Halloween.

Come dressed in your scary best and expect to dance around with Annabelle and Chucky. Best-dressed prizes include bottles of Moet champagne and Belvedere vodka.

Oct 26. 10pm till late. No cover charge.

LuLu’s Third Annual Carnival of the Absurd

Just next door to Bang Bang, nightclub LuLu’s Lounge is bringing back its signature carnival-themed night this Halloween. Inspired by the Coney Island Circus Sideshow, expect sexy burlesque dancers, over-the-top drag queens and bizarre acts. Come dressed in the most absurd looks and you could win a two-night stay at a resort in Phuket.
