Hey, all you avid emoji users. Here’s a Singaporean twist to your preferred way of communication. It’s a Singlish emoji keypad, and it’s pretty aptly called SINmoji.
Self-described as ‘the only and best, most shiok, Emoji-Singlish transformer keyboard in SG, JB and some say World’, the locally-tinged app can be used on most standard messaging platforms, including WhatsApp, Facebook, Line, WeChat and iMessage.
As of now, the 1.0 version has over 70 emoji stickers and familiar phrases such as ‘alamak’, ‘so sian’, ‘aiyah’, ‘sabo’ and ‘chut pattern’. But plans are in the pipeline for more Singlish emojis – this time, they’ll be related to Singaporeans’ favourite hobbies: shopping and eating.
Download SINmoji for $1.48 on the App Store.
