A recent study by the National Healthcare Group Polyclinics (NHGP) has found that taking photos of the food they eat improves diabetics’ blood sugar levels.
The study required 38 diabetics to take photos of every meal they had within a three-day period and presenting the photos at their next check-up for analysis.
It is unclear how often this activity was carried out, but results showed that the sample’s body mass index (BMI) dropped significantly.
This photo-taking project is one of the finalists in a contest organized by the Singapore Health and Biomedical Congress.
