Once the foodies in Singapore get on board a trend, it’s unstoppable. Just like our current obsession with Korean sandwich shacks — first, there was Seoul in a Sandwich, then the crazy popular Isaac Toast and its long queues, followed by Egg Stop at Paya Lebar.

Just a couple months later, we’re now welcoming KToast, an eatery reminiscent of Isaac Toast, but located in Clementi for all you West-siders. Newly launched last month, the place serves Korean-style sammies, whipped up by a chef from South Korea, using sauces that are reportedly imported from the same country.

If you know your Korean toasts, you’ll know what to expect — simple breakfast-type sandwiches that are easy to grab and go. As such, the menu is filled with standard affordable options of breads stuffed with the likes of ham, egg and cheese ($2.90), bacon ($3.90), potato ($3.90), bulgogi ($4.90), and chicken ($4.90), alongside drinks such as coffees, juices, and smoothies ($2.50-$4.50).

Nothing fancy, just good old carbs that’ll fill you up if you’re starving and in a hurry.

FIND IT:
KToast is at #01-23 Grantral Mall (CityVibe), Commonwealth Ave West.
