Whisky Live 2013
Some might say that Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year, but to drinkers who love their drams, it’s whenever Whisky Live takes place. This year, that date is Oct. 25 and the venue will once again be Raffles Hotel Singapore.
The annual event will showcase whiskies from 40 brands and spirits from 25 brands.
Highlights of the night include a friendly competition among a few bars in attendance to create a special cocktail, and masterclasses that will be opened to visitors and the public at a set price of $35 for one, $60 for two.
Exclusive to this year’s event, Collector Room is for the whisky aficionados. It’ll feature more than 40 bottles of the world’s most acclaimed whiskies such as Karuizawas dating back to 1968, Lagavulin 37-year-old, Port Ellen 1977, and many more.

Mr Benjamin Chen, the only Singaporean invited member of highly-recognised group The Malt Maniacs, will be hosting the special event. Attendees will be able to hear about his passion for whiskies over two complimentary drams, with more symbolic bottles available at exceptional prices.
