Out in the nether regions of Boon Lay, there exists a spaghetti dish that’s so spicy you’ll need to sign an indemnity form before eating it (or at least attempting to).

Spaghetti from Hell” is Southwest Tavern’s own spicy challenge that’ll reward you with towers of Heineken beer or a S$100 dining voucher (and bragging rights, of course) should you gulp down the fiery platter within 10 minutes. It’s so spicy that challengers are required to be at least 18 years old and not have any existing medical conditions like heart problems, asthma, or high blood pressure.

Perhaps the best indication of the risk comes from the eatery’s Terms and Conditions:

“Southwest Tavern and its staff will not be held liable for any injury, mental and physical sufferings, stroke or death occurred during or after taking the challenge.”

With all that being said, watch foodie and Chilli Hunter host Tyson Mayr completely fail the challenge in the Singapore edition of the ongoing series. Dude couldn’t even stand at the end of it all and needed medical attention. If you want to see more of Mayr’s tastebuds being tortured, the whole episode is up on Toggle.
