Relieved that the queues at famous Hokkaido brand BAKE CHEESE TART are finally dwindling down? Well, it may not stay that way for long, ’cause the shop is launching its limited edition chocolate-flavoured cheese tart for Valentine’s Day.
Yeah, we know it’s mushy and cheesy (hah) as hell to subscribe to the madness that is the commercialised, once-a-year declaration of love. But hey, when these impossibly fluffy cheese tarts come with a chocolate infusion — for the first time in an outlet outside of Japan — we can’t say no to that. (It just happens to only be available close to V-day).

So get in line at either outlet to get your hands on the specially designed pink BAKE box. Just the fact that you queued patiently for the choco cheese tarts (only 150 boxes are available daily at each store) should be a way-more-than-adequate expression of your love.
BAKE choco cheese tarts will be available from Feb 8-14 at the ION Orchard and Westgate outlets. $21/box of six; customers are limited to one box of choco cheese and one box of original cheese per purchase. More info here (from Feb 3).
