Sticking around on the food scene in fickle Singapore is no easy feat, so Italian restaurant Mondo Mio is celebrating its well-deserved 10th anniversary with a limited edition four-course set menu. From now till December, you can head to the cosy riverside spot for seasonal and signature plates inspired by Southern Italian cooking.

Start off with an appetiser of ham and mozzarella rolled in grilled zucchini, then choose your first course from three options. There’s creamy tagliatelle pasta with eggplant and crayfish, mini pasta dumplings with scampi salsa, saffron and prawns or Italian Arborio rice with prosecco, broad beans, celery and prawns. We’d recommend the first, but you’re more than welcome to bring a few friends and try ’em all.

But pace yourself, ’cause you’ll wanna save space for the tender veal fillets with Marsala red wine sauce and a side of grilled veggies. To end off the meal, there’s the restaurant’s version of cannolis — crunchy Italian pastries filled with equal portions of ricotta and Chantilly cream (so you don’t feel too gelat after the third bite), stuffed with pear and topped with caramelised walnuts.

Mondo Mio‘s 10th anniversary set menu will be available from now till Dec 15 at 30 Robertson Quay. Daily 11am-2pm & 6pm-10.30pm. $45/four-course set.
