Try this: A new weekend jazz brunch with live music, free flow champagne and raclette cheese

Weekend jazz brunch
Weekend jazz brunch

The first jazz brunch to hit our city comes courtesy of Montreux Jazz Cafe, the swanky space tucked away at Pan Pacific Orchard. Every weekend, you can treat yourself to a three-course selection of brunch favourites to a soothing backdrop of tunes by local talents.

The breakfast salad

Choose from appetisers like the breakfast salad with hard-boiled eggs, chicken, avocado and croutons, corn fritters with spinach and roasted tomatoes, or soup of the day. Mains offer options like scrambled eggs with rosti, Reuben sandwiches, eggs benny, cheese burgers and steak frites — and don’t forget the live station offering herb-roasted Aussie sirloin and gooey raclette cheese. After you’ve ate your fill, desserts like pancakes with ice cream, sticky date pudding and coffee mousse will start calling out your name.

The raclette cheese station

Oh, and on Sundays, the cafe brings in kids’ entertainers to keep your young ones occupied while you enjoy being serenaded by jazz melodies.

Montreux Jazz Cafe Weekend Jazz Brunch is on every Sat & Sun, 11am-3pm. $98, includes free flow champagne, wines, spirits, draft beers and soft drinks; $78, includes soft drinks; $16 for children’s menu.
