The much-lauded Tippling Club has just launched a new cocktail selection called Dreams and Desires, and it’s apparently the world’s first “edible menu”. No, you can’t munch on the printed list of food and beverages — instead of merely reading about the contents in each of their 12 boozy concoctions, you get to sample the flavors in all of ’em. In gummy bear form.
That’d make your life so much easier when it comes to picking out a cocktail, no? No more hemming and hawing and all that indecisiveness.
While edible cocktails aren’t really a new thing in 2017, these gummy bears aren’t the actual drink — they just serve as a teaser for what’s to come.
Presented in a candy bag, the gummy bears — and their corresponding cocktails ($24) — are each named after dreams or desires (hence the name of the menu) and infused with the associated flavors. So if you were to pick Holiday, for example, you’d be sipping on coconut, pineapple, kaffir lime leaf, and rum in a coconut husk.
The more ambitious types can go for Success, a mix of red wine, amaro, cognac, and whisky, while adventurous drinkers can try potent Super Car potion, made of butter, white wine, citrus, petrol, and gin (even the gummy bear comes with an “eat me last if you dare” warning).
But what we’re most curious about has got to be the blood-inspired Revenge vodka martini (and its twin black gummy bear).
To elevate your experience, each cocktail is served with edible garnishes, such as a cherry sorbet “lipstick” with Beauty’s brew of jasmine, dry cherry, and champagne, or a passionfruit “acid” tab with Happiness’ blend of yuzu, lemon, orange, honey, and tequila.
While we can’t quite imagine a grown adult suckling on a milk bottle at the bar, the Baby concoction of milk, vanilla, apricot, honey, citrus, and gin sure sounds like it could lull us to a soothing sleep.

The Dreams and Desires cocktail menu is available Mon-Sat for lunch, dinner, and bar service at Tippling Club.
