If you’ve been dreaming about the sizzle of meats when they hit the grill and soju cocktails that just about hit the right spot after a long day at work, Korean charcoal BBQ joint Seorae has launched a new menu to satiate all your cravings. Besides fan favourite dish galmaegisal, the signature pork skirt meat marinated in Korean spices, the menu also offers a kkochi platter with charcoal grilled skewers of cheese, kimchi and spicy enoki wrapped in samgyeobsal (pork belly) or woosamgyeob (prime beef short plate). Crack an egg or throw in kimchi on the sides of the grill for extras to go with the meats.
For sweater weather days, try the budae jjigae, a gochujang spicy stew simmering with sausages, spam, bacon, beans and veggies. Or gather a bunch of buddies to order the cheese mandu tteokbokki of Korean rice cakes served on a hot pan with fried fish cakes, eggs, corn cheese dumplings, noodles and pineapples.
