Start your day right with the new weekend breakfast menu at Bread Street Kitchen

Rise and shine, for the early bird catches the worm. Although, in this case, it’s more like a spread of British classic brekkie items at Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen.

First on the list is, unsurprisingly, the English breakfast ($24), a plate full of bacon, sausage, black pudding, mushrooms, tomato and baked beans sitting cosy with two eggs of your choice (scrambled, poached or fried).

For something a little on the lighter side, choose the eggs benedict ($19) with honey roasted ham, spinach or smoked salmon, or the BSK omelette ($19) stuffed with mushrooms, gruyere cheese and rocket leaves. Avocado fanatics can go for chunky slivers of creamy goodness nestled with a poached egg and drizzled with mustard mayo on a slab of pumpernickel bread ($15).

Of course, no breakfast menu would be complete without pancakes. And Bread Street Kitchen offers up three fluffy buttermilk ones ($18) doused in honeycomb butter and maple syrup, with banana slices.

To round off the meal on a saccharine note, go for the sweet corner add-on ($23). It’s a magical sugar wonderland filled with mini pastries, fruit cakes, tarts, cookies, yogurt, granola and fruit salad. Just be warned: you probably won’t be eating for the rest of the day after this.

Drinks on the menu include smoothies, fresh juices, coffees and organic teas.
