Tea-holics, where you at? We’ve got good news for you: Popular Aussie luxe tea brand T2 Tea is now in town. Taking over Epicentre’s former space at 313 @ Somerset, the dark-walled shop is chock full of colourful tea gems — and if you’ve been a fan of the brand since it made its debut in Melbourne about 20 years ago, you’ll realise the Singapore outlet looks pretty similar to its other overseas stores, what with its glossy wooden floors and black cabinets.
For those who prefer to stick with traditional tea blends, there’s always the classic English Breakfast Earl Grey or French Earl Grey to satiate your taste buds. Otherwise, try something different like Oolong Chocolate Chai, Choc Chip Chai or the special local brew, Singapore Breakfast — it’s a mix of pu-erh, coconut and pandan (inspired by kaya toast).
Besides stocking up on teas, you can also expand your teaware collection here with teapots, cups, saucers, brewing tools and jugs.
