Sip on rare whiskies and cult wines from a selection of more than 500 labels at this event

The second installation of Wine & Whisky Week, hosted by 1855 The Bottle Shop, returns to Suntec City this month. Sift through more than 500 labels by 200 producers from over 20 countries — including France, Australia, Spain, Italy, Chile and England — and taste some of the best cult wines and rare whiskies from acclaimed wineries and distilleries.

Discounts can go up to 50 percent, and all wines and spirits will start from $16 — not bad at all.

And since Christmas is pretty much almost here (just look at the decorations springing up on Orchard Road), this could be a good opportunity for you to stock up on drinks or gifts for your year-end parties.

The first edition of Wine & Whisky Week

If you’re a wine and whisky aficionado, sign up for any of the four masterclasses hosted by winery reps and brand ambassadors. Held at Bistro 1855, each session is limited to 20 seats, with tickets that range from $28 to $45. Workshops include ‘A Primer of Whisky’ by Lewis Mitchell and ‘Uncover Château Pape Clément, A History Icon of Bordeaux’ by Augustin Deschamps, among others.

Wine & Whisky Week is on from Nov 8-13, 11am-10pm at Suntec City Tower 4, East Atrium Level 1. The 6pm-9pm session on Nov 8 is exclusively for 1855 The Bottle Shop members. Free.
