Some of Singapore’s restaurants just made the coveted World’s Best 100 restaurants list this year.
That time of the year is here again where only the top-tier restaurants around the world are revealed and celebrated. Its list of those ranked 51-100 was released yesterday and included four Singapore restaurants.
Three of them were past title holders: Burnt Ends who rose up to the 65th spot, up from 94th last year; Restaurant Zen ranked 69th, up one spot from last year; and Meta at the 84th spot from 95th last year.
New entrant Restaurant Labyrinth, who made this year’s Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants at the 11th spot, entered the list and barely made it at number 97.
Other Asian restaurants that made the list include Bangkok’s Sorn (No. 56), Sühring (No. 72), Potong (No. 88) and Nusara (No. 74); Hong Kong’s Wing (No. 90) and Neighborhood (No. 92); Seoul’s Mingles (No. 89) and Japan’s Sazenka (No. 83) and Narisawa (No. 51) in Tokyo and La Cime (No. 60) in Osaka.
The complete World’s 50 Best Restaurants list will be announced on Jun 20 in Valencia.
