Things are looking up in Yishun — food-wise at least. With residents already enjoying the likes of an Arnold’s Fried Chicken branch and the country’s first Korean chain Pizza Maru outlet, they’ll soon get to feast on another delicious treat in the heartlands: FatPapas Burgers and Shakes.
After seeing great success in their flagship outlet along Bali Lane and a second outlet in Joo Chiat, local hip-hop godfather Sheikh Haikel and his wife Anna Belle Francis have brought their halal offshoot of Fatboy’s The Burger Bar to Northpoint shopping mall.
This means folks in the north will now have a convenient halal-certified western cuisine eatery to head to for some gourmet burgers, steaks, wings, and milkshakes, with Sheikh himself dropping by occasionally to entertain patrons. More details on the Facebook page.
