If you’re an instant noodle fan, you would’ve heard of Indomie’s new and ultra hyped up salted egg flavor, which has gone viral across the web since its debut in August. Not surprising, since the cult favorite Indonesian brand is beloved by addiction-addled consumers pretty much… everywhere.
Previously only available in Indonesia, the coveted packets recently made their way to Singapore via online retailers (like Shopee and Lazada, for $2.20 and $1.50 per pack respectively).
But if you’ve got no patience to wait for your salted egg Indomie to be delivered to your doorstep, you’ll be pleased to find out that you can easily get your hands on ’em now at NTUC FairPrice Finest outlets across the country, as shared by the very helpful Singapore Atrium Sale Facebook page. And they’re going for a mere $1 per pack. (Or $4.50 for five.)
Kinda ironic though, that these deliciously cheap instant noodles are only sold at the supermarket chain’s more upmarket retailer.
Anyway, some of the locations where you can find the trendy new flavor include 100AM, Changi Airport Terminal 3, Junction 8, Scotts Square, Tiong Bahru Plaza, and Waterway Point.
But don’t get your hopes up too high — beyond the hype, several reviews have been rather underwhelmed by the lack of actual salted egg flavor (and let’s not forget the liberal dose of salty MSG seasoning). So maybe get a packet of the original version as well, in case you need a reminder of your love for Indomie after tasting the new creation.
