Feel the sand beneath your feet and the wind in your hair as you relax by the beach, amidst swaying palm trees and a glowing sunset glittering over the waters. Sounds like your kinda evening? Perhaps you’ll wanna give the newly-renovated Sand Bar a shot, then.
With its facelift, the casual eatery in Sentosa is launching three new platters on its menu (which also offers light bites like spicy wings, cheesy meatballs and fries). For anyone who can’t go a meal without protein, the meat platter ($38) is what you want. It’s got pork ribs, flat iron steak, sausages, lamb chops and slow-roasted chicken — all served with a side salad, so you can get your fill of leafy greens.

If you’re more of a meat ‘n’ buns kinda person, the burger platter ($28) offers four options: Beef, chicken, slipper lobster and a pair of pulled pork ones.

Then there’s the most expensive of the bunch: The seafood platter ($42), which features grilled tiger prawns, poached crayfish, marinated mussels, deep fried calamari rings and mantou buns with a chilli crab dip.

Come Friday and Saturday, the beach bar offers an all-you-can-eat barbecue spread, complete with grilled seafood and meats at live stations, salads and sweat treats. As you munch your way through the buffet, enjoy the melodies of live band performances (on Saturdays) and DJ beats (Fridays and Sundays).
