Love to cook, but too busy to run the errands that come with? Here’s an option: have the recipe and ingredients delivered to your doorstep.
Cheftains, which launches in November, joins the tiny, but growing pool of startups riding on this idea.
Choose from the range of gourmet recipes — updated weekly — on their website, pick a day and time slot, and they’ll deliver fresh, pre-portioned ingredients to you. Each recipe apparently takes only 35 minutes.
‘Beta’ testers on Instagram have made chicken tsukune complete with their special yakitori sauce and Japanese rice, salmone al caviale tartufato (pan-seared salmon fillet with truffle caviar) and squid ink pasta (top pic), seemingly, with great success — we can’t wait to try.
You probably can’t either — sign up for their mailing list to have a taste of what’s cooking in their test kitchen.
