Apparently, Pringles ramen is a thing. As the result of a recent collaboration between American potato chip company Pringles and noodle brand Super Cup to celebrate the former’s 50th anniversary and the latter’s 30th, Pringles-flavored ramen and ramen-flavored Pringles were born. The new creations were released in Japan back in October, but for the sake of those not planning a trip there anytime soon, let’s just focus on the ones available in Singapore (to avoid FOMO).

According to the Singapore Atrium Sale Facebook page, two types of Pringles ramen were spotted at Fairprice Finest in Changi City Point: sour cream and onion, and jalapeño and onion. Each one goes for $4.50, which is almost double that of the price in Japan ($2.40), but hey, it’s still cheaper than flying over.

The sour cream and onion yakisoba is flavored similar to the chips it’s modeled after, with a separate sachet of sour cream and onion seasoning if you’d like a dash of extra umami. Meanwhile, the jalapeño option comes with a chicken broth base with potato and onion elements, and allows you to adjust the heat level with its packet of spice.

If you’re tempted to try ’em out, $4.50 isn’t too bad a price to pay for a meal.
