It looks like a teething toy for babies but Japan’s wildly popular Pon De Ring donut from Mister Donut is known for its chewy, soft and mochi-like texture – and now, Singapore fans can try it for themselves when Mister Donut launches here on May 21.

Located in Junction 8 in Bishan, the first Singapore outlet will be serving all the crowd favorites.

Besides the mochi donuts, you can also find French Cruller donuts which are airy on the inside and crunchy on the outside, and the Old Fashion donut which has a cake-like texture. Of course, there will be a variety of flavors available.

And if you want plain ol’ yeasty donuts, they come in a array of flavors like honey dip, sugar raised, angel cream and more.

Exclusive to Singapore, there will also be country-exclusive flavors like the Pon De Ring Chocolate and Strawberry Chocolate.

In 2021, Mister Donuty opened a month-long pop-up in Jurong Point with long queues.

The donut prices start from S$2.30 and can be purchased individually or bundles of six (S$14) or 10 (S$23). There is a maximum purchase of 10 donuts – with Pon De Ring donuts capped at four per customer – to avoid overbuying.
