Many a diet has met its crispy, salty demise with fries. The irresistible potato chunks are so well loved, they’ve got entire brands dedicated to them (although, Best Fries Forever and Everything with Fries sure didn’t last long in Singapore).
One of these French fry specialists is famous Filipino chain Potato Corner, and it recently debuted in Singapore with its first takeaway stall at Orchard.
Serving snack supporters since 1992 with more than 1,000 stores worldwide – including cities like New York, Sydney, Vietnam, Cambodia, and Jakarta – the popular kiosk makes the bold claim of having the “world’s best flavored fries.” Here in Singapore, we have four signature options available at the 313 @ Somerset space: BBQ, chili BBQ, cheese, or sour cream and onion.
These tasty nibbles come in five made-for-sharing sizes, starting (already) from large ($2.90), going all the way up to terra ($10.90). And like its name proclaims, the store also offers servings of tater tots ($4.30) and hash browns ($2) — for potato lovers everywhere to get their fix of the fried stuff, even after McD’s halts its breakfast side after noon.
